Jamie’s journey into the electrical industry began early when his father taught him how to read schematics for cars, sparking a fascination with understanding how systems work. From those early experiences, Jamie developed a deep technical foundation that helped him excel in the complex world of controls and instrumentation.

Jamie’s approach to leadership was inspired by his uncle, a project manager and one of the best in his field. From his uncle, Jamie learned the importance of leadership, effective project management, and the ability to deliver results even in the most challenging situations. These combined influences—technical expertise from his father and leadership skills from his uncle—shaped Jamie’s vision for creating a company built on integrity, craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence.

In 2013, Jamie founded Double J Electric Inc., with a mission to provide top-quality electrical services grounded in these values. Today, we proudly serve clients throughout Oregon and California, offering a wide range of electrical services, from routine maintenance to complex installations. Jamie, the founder and master electrician of Double J Electric, has over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. His passion for the trade began when his father taught him how to read schematics, leading him to develop deep expertise in controls and instrumentation. Jamie’s leadership and technical knowledge set the standard for the company, ensuring that every project is completed with a commitment to safety, quality, and reliability.

Josh Scherf | Lead Electrician

With 7 years of experience, Josh Scherf serves as our Lead Electrician, specializing in residential and commercial electrical systems. Josh leads installation and maintenance projects, ensuring that each job is completed to the highest safety and quality standards. His attention to detail and dedication to delivering excellent results make him a vital part of our team

Tylor Jones | Lead Service Electrician

With 9 years of experience, Tylor Jones leads our Service Department, focusing on troubleshooting, repairs, and ongoing maintenance. Brent Stevens | Electrician

Steve Roche brings 25 years of experience to his role, handling small works jobs in Modesto, CA. Rogue Bruman | Third-Year Apprentice Electrician

As a third-year apprentice, Rogue Bruman is learning the trade under the mentorship of our senior electricians. He assists on residential and commercial projects, gaining hands-on experience in wiring, installations, and troubleshooting. Rogue’s enthusiasm for the trade and strong work ethic make him a valuable member of the team.

Doug Widmaier | Shop Hand

Doug Widmaier is our Shop Hand, responsible for supporting the team with day-to-day tasks, organizing equipment, and assisting with prep work for upcoming projects. Doug is on the list to become an apprentice, and his passion for learning and work ethic have already made him a valuable member of the Double J Electric team.

Brianna Casperson | Office Administrator

As our Office Administrator, Brianna Casperson plays a vital role in managing the administrative side of the business. She coordinates schedules, handles client communications, and manages permits and paperwork to ensure everything runs smoothly.
